Crafting a simplified and efficient digital mortgage experience

OneSavingsBank Group, the parent company of Precise Mortgages, engaged MagiClick to overhaul the digital presence of Precise. The objective was to elevate the digital experience for both brokers and customers by harnessing emerging technologies and industry best practices. The project's scope included a comprehensive digital audit, strategy formulation for an optimal future digital landscape, and the development and implementation of new digital solutions starting with a revitalised website to coincide with Precise's brand relaunch in 2024.

Strategic Analysis

Our interdisciplinary team, combining business analysis, user experience design, and technology expertise, conducted an in-depth review to identify strategic requirements. The focus was on enhancing customer and broker experiences, improving operational efficiencies, and seizing new market opportunities to foster sales growth.

Prototyping and Testing

We created interactive, low-fidelity prototypes, subjecting them to extensive testing with Precise’s stakeholders, customers, and brokers. This iterative process ensured the end products were finely tuned to user needs, incorporating new self-service features for product selection, calculators, and criteria search functionalities.

Design

Following the completion of the prototyping phase, our UI design team embarked on creating the full-colour design of the new interface, drawing inspiration from Precise's recent rebranding. Their fresh branding proposition, "lending without the faff," resonated with our objective to develop a design that not only stands out visually but also emphasises ease of use and straightforward navigation. This approach was strategically chosen to align with Precise's vision of simplifying the lending process, aiming to revolutionise the customer experience in the mortgage industry by setting a new benchmark for clarity and accessibility. Our goal was to create an interface that not only looks appealing but also enhances user engagement through its intuitive layout and operation, thus redefining user expectations and industry standards for digital mortgage services.
