Enabling Omni-Channel E-Commerce

IKEA is a Swedish founded, Dutch multinational conglomerate that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories, among other useful goods and home services.

We built IKEA Turkey's e-commerce infrastructure from scratch, complete with easy product database & category management capabilities, complex campaign/promotion mechanisms, integration with store-based stock databases and secure payment processes with selected banks and more.

We also strengthened the company's omni-channel offering with iOS & Android based mobile commerce applications, which became an instant hit with shoppers.

The IKEA mobile application enables shoppers to

  • easily filter through products and purchase desired items
  • create lists before coming to the store and see the location of each product at the store on the app
  • scan the barcode of a product to get detailed product information and add to shopping list
  • check stock status while planning shopping at a specific store
  • receive notification when a product is back in stock
  • calculate delivery and/or assembly fees
  • track orders
  • sign up for exclusive campaigns, discounts and announcements
