Where's The Closest Pediatrician?
As part of GlaxoSmithKline's child vaccination awareness campaign we have developed an iPhone Application that helps people find pediatricians and ob/gyn specialists, see their contact information and view their location on the map. Doctors can also be searched by name, city and neighborhood. The application uses GPS technology to locate and show doctors that are closest to the user's present location.
The application quickly rose up in the medical applications list on iTunes and has been listed among the top ten free applications for the past six months.
Spreading Rotavirus Awareness
The animated microsite we have created to spread rotavirus awareness striked a chord with thousands of mothers and became one of the most successful online projects of 2009.
The site received the only Global Award bestowed in the Consumer Web Site Category at the prestigious international NYF Global Awards and also recognized as the Best Healthcare Site at the national level.
GlaxoSmithKline Turkey
MagiClick has been GlaxoSmithKline's agency of record since 1997 and helped them with countless digital projects ranging from full-scale healthcare portals and microsites to e-detailing activites and intranets. MagiClick's work for GSK produced numerous awards including a NYF Global Award, three Gloden Spider (Altin Orumcek) awards and a GIA Grand Jury Award that recognized "a decade of successful online strategy".
In 2009 we revamped GSK Turkey's web site based on new global guidelines.
Microsite for Flu Awareness
GlaxoSmithKline wanted to build a microsite to support their anti-flu vaccination campaign.
As their interactive agaency of record we created an award winning microsite with a striking intro and videos of real people explaining flu facts.
World of Vaccines
Built with the goal of increasing public awareness of vaccination and providing an extensive source for medical information on the subject as well as GSK products for health care professionals, AsiDunyasi.Com (World of Vaccines) has quickly become the most visited specialised healthcare portal in Turkey.
Attracting over 40,000 visitors every month, the portal won the "Best Healthcare Site" award in Turkey in 2008 and was also recognized as a best-practice case among hundreds of GSK projects worldwide.
In 2009 the site was redesigned to include video-based content and other interactive applications such as interactive SMS/E-mail vaccines reminder, location-based pediatrician finder app and advergame.
